This Privacy Policy describes how Nova Unicorn Pvt Ltd, doing business as Wefrnd (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use our social connection app (“App”) and website (“Website”) (together, the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

We collect only the minimum information required to provide secure audio/video call connections and basic profile setup. In some cases, we may also require identity verification (KYC) depending on the services you use.

Data is stored on secure servers (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud). Industry-standard measures (encryption, access controls) protect your data. Since no passwords are used, OTP-based login ensures secure authentication. KYC documents (if collected) are encrypted and stored only as long as legally required.

We keep your data only as long as necessary to provide services or comply with legal obligations. Call metadata may be stored for a limited time for security, fraud prevention, or regulatory reasons. KYC documents are retained only for the period mandated by law or service-specific needs, after which they are securely deleted. No user-uploaded content exists on our Platform.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access or update your profile info (avatar, username, year of birth).
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent for optional features (e.g., location, if enabled).
- Request access or deletion of your KYC data (subject to legal and regulatory retention requirements).
7. Third-Party Links
Our Platform may contain links to third-party services (e.g., ads or external sites). Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
8. Communications from Us
- Service-related messages: We may send OTP codes, security alerts, or updates (cannot be opted out).
- Promotional messages: Sent only with your consent, and you can opt out anytime.
